The Technology
Where you stand and where you swing. The hitting surface affects ball data accuracy, comfort during long sessions, and the overall feel of your simulator. We match the right mat to your launch monitor and playing style.
The Foundation
Your strike mat is the interface between you and the simulator. It affects how the launch monitor reads your shots, how your body feels after 100 swings, and how realistic the experience feels underfoot. The wrong mat can feed bad data to your launch monitor or cause joint fatigue.
By Use Case
We have access to all the best mats on the market and work with each client to discuss the pros and cons of each option. Your mat recommendation depends on three things: your launch monitor, your playing style, and your available space.
$150 – $250
Covers only the ball contact zone, sized to match your launch monitor's detection area. Price varies based on turf feel, durability, and quality. Best for tight spaces, overhead camera launch monitors, and builds where the surrounding floor will be covered in custom turf.
$700 – $1,200
Covers the entire hitting and stance area, approximately 5'x10' for a player who hits both left and right handed. Price varies based on size. The most common choice for dedicated simulator rooms. Comfortable for long practice sessions.
$1,300+
Built for facilities running 40-60 hours per week of play. Thicker base, replaceable hitting inserts, and commercial-grade turf that holds up to daily abuse. We spec these for every commercial build.
Beyond the Mat
Beyond the hitting mat, we install full synthetic turf flooring throughout the simulator room. This includes custom putting greens with regulation cups, approach areas, and seamless transitions between zones. The turf ties the entire room together.
