Why Build It In

PLAN IT RIGHT
THE FIRST TIME

Building a simulator into new construction eliminates compromises. There are no ceiling height limitations to work around, no undersized electrical panels, no HVAC afterthoughts. Every system is designed to support the build from day one.

Electrical planning. Dedicated 20A circuits, conduit runs, and outlet placement designed around your exact equipment — not retrofitted into existing walls.
HVAC integration. Projectors and computers generate heat. We specify additional cooling capacity and return air placement so the room stays comfortable during long sessions.
Space optimization. We work with your architect to define room dimensions that maximize hitting area while fitting the floor plan. Every inch serves a purpose.
Structural reinforcement. Impact screen mounting, ceiling-mounted projectors, and overhead enclosure hardware require proper blocking and framing. We provide specs before drywall goes up.

Our Role

HANDLE

We sit between you and your builder. Our team produces the documentation your general contractor needs to build the room correctly — and we stay involved through every phase to make sure nothing gets missed.

Design specifications for builders. Framing layouts, electrical schematics, HVAC requirements, and finish schedules — delivered in formats your GC understands and can execute.
Technology integration. We select, source, and install every component: launch monitor, projector, impact screen, enclosure, compute hardware, and software. One team, one point of accountability.
Project coordination. We communicate directly with your builder, architect, and electrician at every critical milestone. Pre-wire inspections, rough-in verification, and final commissioning — we are there.

The Numbers

Every build is different, but these are the baseline specs we design around for a residential simulator room in new construction.

Min. Ceiling Height

9' functional minimum. 10' recommended for full swing clearance with all clubs.

15'

Min. Room Depth

Hitting position to screen. 18'+ preferred for comfortable standing distance and seating.

12'

Min. Room Width

Allows standard enclosure width plus side clearance. 14'+ opens up lounge-style layouts.

Electrical. Minimum two dedicated 20A/120V circuits. One for projector, one for compute. Additional circuits for lighting, sound, and climate control recommended.
Flooring. Concrete slab preferred. We specify level tolerance and finish requirements based on your mat and turf selection.
Lighting. Dimmable recessed lighting on a separate circuit. No windows behind the screen — ambient light destroys projector image quality.
