The Technology
Golf balls travel fast. Your walls and ceiling need to handle it. We offer three tiers of impact protection — from functional to premium — matched to your skill level, usage, and how you want the room to look.
Protecting Your Space
Impact protection isn't just about preventing drywall damage. Proper padding absorbs sound, protects your equipment, and transforms the look of your simulator room. The level of protection you need depends on who's using the sim, their skill level, and how you want the room to look.
Protection Levels
We offer three levels of wall and ceiling padding. The right choice depends on your budget, how the room will be used, and the aesthetic you want.
$2.99 / sq ft
Foam-backed carpet tiles on walls and ceiling. Functional impact protection at the lowest price point. We guide you on how much depth from the screen to pad based on your skill level and comfort.
Example Estimate
Two side walls at 6'D × 10'H = 60 sq ft each (120 sq ft)
Ceiling at 14'W × 6'D = 84 sq ft
Total: 204 sq ft × $2.99 = ~$610
$4.99 / sq ft
2" thick acoustic foam wedge panels (24" × 48"). A significant step up in aesthetics and acoustic properties — reduces ball impact noise by up to 80% and improves room acoustics. Good value, easily replaceable if damaged.
Example Estimate
Each panel is 2' × 4' = 8 sq ft (4-pack = 32 sq ft)
Two side walls at 6'D × 10'H = 120 sq ft
Ceiling at 14'W × 6'D = 84 sq ft
Total: 204 sq ft ÷ 32 = ~7 packs needed
Total: 204 sq ft × $4.99 = ~$1,018
Starting at $4,000+

Measure the surfaces you want padded. For each wall: Width × Height = sq ft. For the ceiling: Width × Depth = sq ft. Add them up for your total. Most standard simulator bays need two side walls (from the screen back 4–8 feet) and the ceiling section directly above the hitting area. We'll help you determine exactly what needs coverage based on your room layout and skill level.
Our Approach
Not every wall needs the same protection. We analyze your room layout, the position of the hitting mat relative to walls and ceiling, and your typical shot patterns to determine exactly where padding is needed and at what density.
